MMU GROUPS:
Men's Chorus
The MMU Men’s Chorus was founded by a group of male students in Select Chorus in 2001. The group was formed around singing barbershop quartet songs but has grown to encompass all genres of choral music.
This choir is designed to give men a chance to perform in a group that is at the same time fun-loving and focused on creating a great performance. Men’s Chorus looks to include all students who wish to perform and would like to make the commitment to the choir, performing to create confident singers and an exciting choral experience.MMU Select Chorus
The MMU Select Chorus was also founded as a performance opportunity for the students who were most focused on creating choral excellence.
This choir is designed to give men and women the opportunity to sing in a truly excellent choir in regards to tone, difficultly of music, focus of sound, creating an exciting and engaging choral performance. This choir exists to give juniors and seniors who have been active participants in the music department the chance to meet their fullest potential, most often singing music of eight or more parts and studying all genres of choral music. The center of Select Chorus’ mission is to create a truly focused, polished, inspiring, beautiful, and exciting choral performance the group size will be limited to around 34 total members. This chorus is only auditioned in September.MMU Women's Madrigal Singers

The World Drumming Circle essentially acts as a drum circle playing African/Latin American rhythms and beats. The World Drumming Circle meets weekly on Monday after school from 3:05 to 4:00 pm. No experience drumming is needed or drums as instruction and drums will be provided. There may be a few performances per year.MUSIC DEPARTMENT STAFF:
