Each year, the Boys Basketball program participates in Mt. Mansfield Youth Basketball player clinics. This year, the clinic will be held January 28^th. All varsity basketball players will be working that day with the MMYBL players, working on skills that will improve all facets of their game.

Varsity Boys Basketball Letter Policy:

Any team member who successfully completes the season in good standing is eligible to earn a Varsity Letter from Mt. Mansfield. The program believes that every players role is unique, and equally important. There are no playing time guidelines as criteria for earning a letter.

MEET THE COUGAR BOYS BASKETBALL COACHES

Varsity Boys Basketball Coach: Jeff Davis

Bio: Jeff Davis began coaching the Varsity Boys Basketball team in the 1999-2000 season. Before then, he coached the Girls Varsity team in the 1998-1999 season, and the JV Girls team in the 1997-1998 season. Jeff attended Norwich University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, while playing basketball for Norwich all four years. In both his Junior and Senior years at NU, Davis was a captain. Since taking over in the 1999-2000 season, Davis has coached 13 players who went on to compete at the collegiate level. Within his tenure, the Cougars have won two State Championships, going back to back in 2004 and 2005. Davis resides in Colchester, Vt with his wife Tammy, and two children Zachary and Anya.

Timmy MacDonnell joined the Varsity Boys Basketball coaching staff as an assistant in 2010. Prior to joining the staff, Timmy attended Gordon College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Computer Science and Accounting. While at Gordon, Timmy played four years of basketball. Timmy's graduating class set a school record for most wins in a season, and career. He also helped Gordon win its first conference championship in school history. Before Gordon, Timmy was a player for Jeff Davis and the Cougars from 2003-2006, winning back to back state championships in 2004 and 2005. Timmy currently resides in Jericho.
